I have seen your adds in WIZARD magazine, checked out your site. And I dig your comic. Is there a way i can order the full comic online?I live in south lake tahoe and good comic shops are a helluva drive away. Is it possible to get a subscription? Thanks -Dave

Jeff Hotchkiss laments:
I first saw your book advertised in Wizard mag, and my first impression was: cool art, but (being suddenly striken by the judge-the-book-by-the-cover syndrome) how cool can the story be? Well, after visiting your website, my disease vanished--QUICKLY! TohuBohu looks very awesome. I love the New Breeds! Next time I go to the comic shop my two bucks (or six if I get caught up) is yours!

Scott Brady writes:
Hi, Saw your book at comic con. Bought it, read it, loved it. It was the best new comic I've seen in years. I loved your booth too. I got everything I wanted. Keep up the good work.

David Dentler had this to say:
I wanted to drop a quick note to say that I was impressed with your website. Issue #1 was fantastic!! I took the liberty of adding your site to our links page at ShaddowFish Comics because others should know about your site.

Fabricio Grellet puts pen to paper to say:
You really caught my attention. Tohubohu is something new, with great color and a great publicity. This lack of publicity's something that (kill) the other publishing companies. If you really like what you're publishing, and if you want to be a winner, why not let the world know about your work?! Some publishing companies don't worry about this side of the things - and they sell badly, till the end.

So I think that your beginning is pretty much different from the other comic companies, with your concentrated efforts in only an universe of characters, instead of lots of titles and lots of characters that nobody heard about (and you know... tradition is something that the readers like - see Marvel and DC!). And you've done some other steps in the right direction...

Thanks again, Fabricio

Manny writes:
I bought your first issue at Wizard World this summer and it kicked A$$! This is the first time I've ever written to a comic series but Tohubohu is truly one of the best new independent comics to come out in a long time, I just to had write. Here's to a long run and great success good luck and I'll be on the lookout for the 2nd issue.

Congrats, Manny

Justin Gordon sings our praises:
I just got a copy of Tohubohu #1 at the Rosemont convention center in Chicago. In fact, got all 3 of your signatures. It was awesome, amazing artwork, incredible storyline, it had everything! I'm guessing issue 2 is out so I'm gonna go try to find it! Keep the good work coming!

Darrion Bowens has something to say:
Hey, I just wanted to tell you guys that your comic was awesome. I really like the colors and how they weren't dark like all of those other stereotypical books. I also like that the people had sort of a native American look. I interpreted that as your way of showing that the humans are more in tune with nature now. The only one very minuscule peeve I had was the over used swearing. I'm not some uptight person and I could really care less about swear words, only the style of art and colors, (which I may add are excellent), are kind of deceptive, as they lead the viewer to see the book as more children oriented. Other than that, I really like all aspects of the book, and am looking forward to the next edition. The first chance I get, I'm going inform my comic vender of you and maybe I'll get the issue sooner or something. So,good luck on your great book.

Sincerely, Darrion

Darrion brings up a good point, how do you know what type of comic book you are getting when you buy a small press title like TohuBohu? At New Breed we like to think of TohuBohu as an action packed series similar to what you might find on TV or in the movies. The characters speak in a very realistic manner. Any time cursing is used it is "bleeped out" with symbols, but it is there. While we believe that the stories told in TohuBohu are suitable for nearly everyone, parents should always be interested in what their children are reading, watching, and playing. This way everyone who wants to enjoy the spine tingling action and suspense in TohuBohu can. -- ShadowEditor.

Mike Witherel joins the fray:
I got your book at the Chicago convention and I would just like to comment you on a great book. It has a very good storyline, great characters, and cool villains. It would make a great TV series. I really like all aspects of the book, and am looking forward to the next edition. Good luck!

Mike

That's all the room we have for letters this month. Keep the e-mail coming! -- ShadowEditor.
