In order to compete for survival with the more physically gifted New Breeds, Etheria assembled a team of scientists for the development of high-tech defense weaponry. This new division of the military drew inspiration from natures perfect weapons and created the Animal Replicating Military Survival Systems, or A.R.M.S.S.

A.R.M.S.S. weaponry ranges from the MF (Mickey Finn) tranquilizer-gun series -- which meets Genesis' mandate against the killing of any living thing -- to complex body armor integrated with airborne flight systems and firing/retractable torso-linked grappling claws. The A.R.M.S.S. Division is also responsible for the development of vehicles, communication systems, and Etheria's Computer-Guided Defense Systems.
