This red ant New Breed is the warlord of the most disciplined, tenacious army in the world of Tohubohu. From the beginning of her reign, Madame Brimstone turned her focus to conquering the whole forest with her fearless warriors.

Madame Brimstone's greatest conquest to date occurred over 200 years ago, when her forces raided and took over the Genesis Society's biostation. The invasion and expulsion of the human inhabitants left great technology in the hands of this devious dictator. The ants were able to learn how to operate this underground fortress by enslaving captured humans and forcing them to instruct the drones.

Because the humans were forced to flee the biostation without warning, they abandoned many important documents (most of the Genesis Chronicles) and other necessities. The Shadowhunters send periodic infiltration operations to the biostation in attempts to retrieve important items and free the human slaves.
