His no-nonsense personality and physical prowess makes him the quintessential Shadowhunter. While
K-Hawk's studies and training helped him become the model hero, his relation-ship with his adopted brother, Venin, has helped him learn about survival under extreme conditions.
He has gained knowledge far beyond that contained in the books and instruction of the Guard Academy, knowledge that can only come from life on the jungle floor.
