This massive albino cobra New Breed is the current Grand Champion of the ÒPredator and PreyÓ fighting competition and the reason behind Cyrus Bogg's rise to power. Thirty years ago, Cyrus was working on the fruit plantations he now owns when he stumbled across a baby albino cobra. Realizing the infant New Breed had the potential to grow into an extremely dangerous warrior, Cyrus rescued the young cobra from what would have been an early death on the jungle floor. Since albinos stick out like a sore thumb, Cyrus brought Shikari back to his one bedroom apartment in the ring of Dregs and raised him in seclusion. As Shikari began to grow, so did Cyrus' ambition and greed. But Cyrus was soon caught stealing fruit from work to feed his adopted son, and was to pay the penalty with his life. Upon hearing about the death sentence, Shikari rushed to his father's rescue and in the process decimated Cyrus' accusers.

This was the catalyst that began Cyrus' rise to power. He began to use Shikari to eliminate anyone or anything he saw as an obstacle or threat. As word spread of Cyrus' control over the albino snake now known as ÒThe White DeathÓ, fewer and fewer New Breeds were willing to challenge Cyrus' word. Since the cobra was sheltered for so long, he is not like other New Breeds. Once Cyrus started to get some power, he was almost never around, so he left Shikari in the hands of his human slaves. Shikari was raised with great care and love by his human entourage, and because of this he is actually a rather shy and refined individual who only kills to please his father. He lives secluded in his opulent quarters hidden in Cyrus' casino, surrounded by his human family. Shikari has developed two distinct personalities: that of a peaceful, sensitive eccentric, and that of a cold-blooded, perfect killing machine.
