Venin was orphaned as a child, when 'unknown' New Breed forces obliterated his Black Desert mining town.
After surviving on his own for months in the treacherous Black Desert, Venin was rescued by a Shadowhunter Retrieval Unit and returned to Etheria. Venin was adopted by General Condor and raised -- along with his brother Knighthawk -- to continue the tradition of the Shadowhunters.

Venin's exploits in the field have already made him an Etherian legend. He generally lets his actions speak louder than his words, but when he has something to say, he is rough and direct like the New Breeds he encountered in his early years. Venin thrives in this World Gone Wild with a survival-of-the-fittest attitude that the most ruthless of New Breeds would envy. Although this may be his greatest asset, it may also be his biggest detriment.

His inability to follow all the rules has kept him from reaching the highest rank of the Shadowhunters. He has never been knighted, and could care less. He is focused on survival, his own and that of his human brethren, and is revered throughout Etheria for his undying devotion.
